District 7870 Rotary Leadership Event
March 1, 2022At a recent meeting, Dana mentioned that the Rotary District 7870 is holding a daylong online Rotary Leadership Institute event on Saturday, March 12 from 8:30 am to 3 pm.
Both Carrel Moore and Jon Endres have attended the inperson version of this event, and have endorsed it.
So what exactly is this this? It's a series of seminars on topics such as:
- A Look Outside the Club
- Membership Orientation and Activation
- Introduction to Leadership
- Creating Service Projects
- Problem Solving Workshops
- Vocational Service
- Effective Committees
- Membership Development
- The Rotary Foundation
- Analyzing a Rotary Club
- The Object of Rotary
- The District
- International Service
- Problems of Leadership
- Creative Service
- Written Communications
- Motivating Rotarians and Effecting Change
No obligation is incurred to become a club president, and any Rotarian can take the course. The cost is $25.
