Meet Your Windmill Editor

February 1, 2021

Kristy Cross
It's been a few years since I attended a Rotary meeting in-person, so I thought my first go as the new editor for The Windmill required a proper introduction. First, I'm honored and humbled to take on the role as editor. As some of you know, Sally was the reason I rejoined Rotary. She had emailed me just prior to her passing, so I felt it was quite appropriate for me to take on the task. So here's my first go at the newsletter. Formatting challenges, remembering to update all the content, getting folks to respond to my emails, my gosh this was not an easy task! But you know what I absolutely loved? All the responses to the 'Question of the Month'. As responses trickled in, they gave me so much joy. I can see why Sally did them! A very quick bio on me: I was born and raised in Bennington. I have my doctorate degree in nursing and work at SVMC within the field of Population Health (that's a story for another time). I'm married to the love my life and together we have two amazing children. I look forward to connecting/reconnecting with all of you!
