Changing of The Guard ceremony

The Changing of The Guard ceremony was outdoors as usual. However, instead of the club meeting as usual at the Jim Ross Pavilion, they met at Howard Park in Shaftsbury. Members arrived masked and set up their chairs.

After the picnic lunch, outgoing president Beth called the meeting to order and we sang, recited the Four Way Test and had the invocation. Then Lisa Byer and David Newell made the Annual Awards (See page 5).

Beth then called up the present board and presented a thank you package including Bennington Rotary face masks which they all put on. She then gave outgoing Past President Jerry Albert a plaque. Ringing the bell she passed the gavel to the incoming co-presidents, Dana Rozycki and Vicki Wilson.
