Although many of the Board members are continuing from last year, they have new goals for the new year. Doug Krause wishes to send a high school student abroad for a year long student exchange with a student from abroad coming to Bennington. He will need to find at least two host families. Mike Day wishes to add some variety to the monthly socials. He also wants to improve communication to keep the membership informed of all that is happening in the Club.
Betsy Rathbun-Gunn's goal is find way to work with Interact and the Catamount Rotary on small projects that make a big difference. The idea is to think globally in ways that can help as many others as possible. One of the projects is to have a book drive to send books to Puerto Rico.
Steve Dale as President Elect feels that he has to understand more fully how the club does things in order to spot opportunities for change and growth. He feels that he can offer an inside and outside perspective at the same time for change and growth within the club.
President Beth Wallace has talked about her wish to work cooperatively with the Catamount Club on projects. Past President Jerry Albert will continue to work with the newly formed Green Mountain Rotaract Club. This promises to be an exciting year as the Board and the membership work on current and future projects.
