Club Leaves of Absence
December 2, 2009
Attendance is a major requirement of Rotary. Sixty percent of all meetings should be at a member's home club. Members can make up missed meetings two weeks before or two weeks after an absence. When traveling, going to a club can be a fine introduction to the place you are visiting. You can also make up on line, www.rotaryeclubone.org
In order to request a leave of absence, a member needs to be in good standing which means that he or she has not missed four meetings without making up and the yearly dues have been paid. A Leave of Absence form needs to be completed and returned to the club secretary.
If you have any questions about make-ups or leaves of absence requests, check with the current Secretary.
