BENNINGTON - Jessica is currently Educational Marketing Director for the Career Development Center which means informing potential students about all that the CDC has to offer in the way of technical courses and programs. She does this in a variety of ways through print and other media. She does a quarterly newsletter among other things. The CDC is on Facebook.

Jessica graduated from Southern Vermont College. She has a BA in English and did post baccalaureate work in secondary education English at the College of St. Joseph. She has lived in Bennington all of her life. She grew up with Rotary. Her mother, Judy Hill, a former Rotarian and a past Bennington Rotary Club president, worked at Better TV with Jim Ross. She knew Jim her entire life. He supported her in all her community involvement.

Jessica was at all the Spaghetti suppers and Pancake Breakfasts. She was a winner in the Four Way Test Speech Contest. She is now on that committee.

As a former English major, Jessica writes poetry. She also is into photography and enjoys reading books that friends and family recommend.

When asked what she would like to get out of Rotary, Jessica noted that it is not what she would get out of Rotary but what she hopes to put into it. She would like to add to Rotary with new ideas and helping on projects. She says it is great to be working with people she has known while she was growing up and to meet new people.

Jessica also hopes to get more involved with the Interact Club. She is the sophomore class advisor and works to help the students build their confidence.

She truly enjoys living in Bennington and thinks it is a great place to raise a family. The surroundings are amazing and educationally, Vermont is rated one of the best states.
